Sensei Michael House is the Chief Instructor at The Sanctuary House. He is the student of Grandmaster Terry Elliott Sr who is the founder of the system. He is also a fourth-degree black belt in the Nisei Goju Ryu Karate system studying under Grandmaster Herbie Thompson Sr. And Master Remie Burke. He has over 30 years of martial arts experience and has cross trained in boxing, kickboxing and other weapon-based arts. Sensei House has over 20 years of educational instruction experience and specializes in working with students that have disabilities. He believes in strong family and community values along with the incorporation of faith-based principles. Sensei House is dedicated to teaching his students safety, situational awareness, real world self-defense concepts and conflict resolution skills.
The Sanctuary House School of Martial Arts offers students quality martial arts training that emphasize a positive mental attitude, high goal setting, self-esteem, discipline, and self-control. We are committed to the cultivation of love, unity, and honor to promote oneness within the community. We believe that physical, mental, and spiritual achievements build the life skills necessary for success.

Adult Self Defense and Karate (Coming Soon)
The Children program is sponsored by The City of Fort Pierce. Annual Memberships Tuition is $65.00 per person. Classes are a self-paced, skill-based program for youth ages 4 to 18 years old.

Yes, the annual membership covers all classes taught for the year.
The Karate Gi is included with the annual membership and is required to participate in class.
No previous martial arts experience is required to join the program.
Enrollment is available for all children 4-18yrs of age.
